The Nueces County Chief Appraiser manages the appraisal district office and is responsible for valuing the taxable property within the appraisal district. The Nueces County Taxpayer Liaison Officer assists taxpayers in understanding the appraisal process.
The purpose of the Appraisal Review Board is to resolve property tax disputes between taxpayers and the Nueces County Appraisal District. The Appraisal Review Board is made up of private citizens and is seperate from the chief appraiser and the Nueces County Appraisal District office.
